By Car
From Foggia take the SSP 17 towards Lucera. At the interchange for Alberona take the SP 130, through Alberona. The road will turn uphill and become windy – be careful on the bends! After 11km you will arrive at Roseto Valfortore. You’ll find it sitting on a hill in a valley, surrounded by mountains. We are the last house on the left side of Via Ariella.
By Air
Bari airport: you can reach Foggia either by train or by bus from right outside arrivals. The bus to Foggia is operated by Pugliairbus. You can check times and book tickets on The Trainline here for either the train or the bus. Alternatively, you can book directly with Pugliairbus here.
Pescara airport: you can reach Foggia by train. Tickets can easily be booked on The Trainline here.
Naples (Napoli) airport: catch the Alibus shuttle bus from the airport to Naples bus terminal (Napoli Centrale). At Naples bus terminal there are direct Flixbus coaches to Foggia. You can check times and book tickets on The Trainline here. There is also an hourly bus service from Naples bus terminal to Foggia operated by Air Campania. No need to book tickets. Rome airports (Ciampino and Fiumicino): catch the shuttle train from either Ciampino or Fiumicino airports to Roma Termini. From Roma Termini you can catch a fast train directly to Foggia which takes about 2.5 hours. You can check times and book tickets on The Trainline here.

By Train or Bus
Foggia is a major train station that you can reach from anywhere in Italy. Once you arrive in Foggia, head to Platform 1 (Binario 1) to catch a small shuttle train to a town called Lucera. The shuttles run every half hour (on the hour and half past the hour) from 05:30 until 22:30. You can check times on The Trainline here.
You can buy your ticket for the shuttle at the newsagent just inside the entrance to Foggia station, or from the guard on the shuttle train. Make sure you stamp your ticket once you get on the shuttle train. Please note the shuttle has two stops: you need to get off at the second stop. The total journey is approximately 20 minutes.
From right outside Lucera train station you can catch the bus to Roseto Valfortore, which takes about an hour. You can buy your ticket at Lucera train station. Make sure you stamp your ticket once you get on the bus. Buses leave at 7:12, 11:12, 13:12, 13:52, 14:42, 16:12 and 19:42.
We are located on the outskirts of the rural village of Roseto Valfortore, in the region of Puglia in southern Italy. The village is in the province of Foggia and is nestled in the rolling hills of the Monti Dauni mountain range, on the eastern edge of the Campanian Apennines.
There is a major train station in Foggia, which is 45 minutes away by car. If you are coming by air, Bari or Naples are our closest international airports. Although further away, you can also fly into Rome. You can also take a direct flight to Foggia from Milan.
