We believe that all humanity has the right to live with dignity and as equals, irrespective of religion, race, nationality, gender or sexual orientation.

These are the terms of booking that apply to all stays booked with La Vita Sukha. Please read them carefully to avoid any risk of misunderstanding or disappointment. If any part of these conditions becomes invalid or somehow unenforceable please be aware this will not affect the validity of the remainder of our terms and conditions.

Booking Conditions

Your contract is between you and us, which, for commercial purposes, is known as Villa Elisabetta Di Elisabeth Cirelli. We are an Italian business and our VAT number is 04460600713 (in Italy this is referred to as a Partita Iva). To complete your booking, the person completing the booking form must read and accept our booking conditions. If a group booking is being made, the elected leader of the group, or whomever is the lead name of the booking must be granted the authority to accept our booking conditions on behalf of everyone in the group. It is understood that the lead name will be responsible for the full cost of the holiday. This includes insurance premiums, cancellations and amendment charges. 

At the time of booking or at check-in, we will take your credit/debit card details and you authorise the use of this card for any outstanding sums of money that are owed to us.

We have the right to request full payment and/or a deposit in advance at the time of booking in certain circumstances or if the booking includes the supply of certain items or services. No Booking shall be treated as confirmed until the details and/or payment/deposit described in this paragraph have been provided. We reserve the right to refuse to accept bookings at our absolute discretion.

Please inform us immediately if there are any discrepancies in the costs or details of your booking. A minimum length of stay, deposit, cancellation charge and other conditions may apply to certain rates. Price lists for additional items are available on request.

Pricing

Upon making your booking the price of your stay will not normally be subject to change however we reserve the right to increase or decrease prices accordingly.

La Vita Sukha requires 50% of the total booking cost when pre-booking as a deposit to secure the booking. The remaining 50% of the booking must be paid no later than 10 days before the check-in date. If the guest fails to pay the remaining balance at least 10 days before the check-in date, the booking will be cancelled and the deposit will not be returned. La Vita Sukha has the right to cancel any booking if full payment is not received punctually.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation more than 4 weeks before the arrival date: deposit 100% refunded.

Cancellation four to two weeks within the arrival date: deposit is non-refundable.

Cancellation less than two weeks before the arrival date: full payment of the booking will be required.

In the case of either the guest leaving earlier than scheduled or a no-show cancels the booking after the arrival date: full payment will be required.

Modifications and/or shortening of original booking made less than two weeks before the arrival date: cancelled days will be charged.

Please note, depending on your payment method refunds may incur a processing fee and/or a fluctuation in currency exchange rates.

Identification

Guests may be required to confirm their identity by providing their:

– Booking reference

– Passport/identity card/driving licence

– A valid credit or debit card which will be swiped in the presence of the card holder.

The information above may be requested for each member of your party over the age of 16.

We reserve the right to refuse entry to persons who cannot provide the information set out above.

Rooms

Your booking is for a class of room and does not guarantee that you will be able to stay in a specific room or in the same room for the duration of your stay. If you have indicated a preference for a particular room with your reservation, we will do our utmost to fulfil your request. Please be aware, however, that we may need to allocate an alternative room to you for operational or safety reasons. If we need to move you to a different room during your booking and the rate for that room is less than the rate of the room you booked, we will refund you the difference in the rates.

Damages & Irresponsibility

La Vita Sukha reserves the right to refuse to further accommodate guests behaving irresponsibly and contractual obligations will be terminated. The guilty party/parties will be liable for the cost of any damage caused. Where this is the case, La Vita Sukha will have absolutely no obligation to refund you for lost accommodation, other services or any other loss or expense incurred by you.

La Vita Sukha accepts no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to persons or property during their stay.

Once your room has been vacated before you leave the premises, it will be checked over for damages. 

If any accidental damages have occurred to your room or the building, including, but not limited to: breakages, scuffing of walls that require retouching, uncleanliness resulting in the need for deep-cleaning – we reserve the right and you hereby authorise us to CHARGE YOU EXTRA BEFORE YOU LEAVE, ACCORDING TO THE LEVEL OF DAMAGE CAUSED. This also applies to any items that are missing.

Other

At certain times, facilities may become unavailable due to maintenance, adverse weather conditions or other reasons beyond our control.  We will do our best to keep all guests informed of these circumstances however this may not always be possible.

Safe on-street parking will be available for the duration of your stay, however, cars and their contents are left at the guest’s own risk. We do not accept responsibility for any loss or damage however caused.

There is absolutely no smoking permitted anywhere inside any of our premises.

La Vita Sukha accepts no liability and will not pay any compensation where the performance of its obligations is prevented or affected directly or indirectly by or as a result of force majeure or any circumstances beyond its reasonable control including, but not limited to: flood, earthquake, extreme adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, acts of terrorism, fire or failure of electric power, interruption or malfunctioning internet connection, gas, water, or other utility service, plant machinery, computers, vehicles or any collapse of building structures.

Nothing contained in the contract or in any other document referred to or incorporated in it shall be read or construed as excluding any liability for death or personal injury caused by the company’s negligence or liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

The contract and any non-contractual obligations arising in connection to it are governed by Italian law. Each party irrevocably waives any objection which it may now or later have to proceedings being brought in the Italian courts in Lucera, Italy.
