Coliving & Seasonal Stays in Puglia, Italy

Colive with us in May or September

In May and September, La Vita Sukha opens its door for coliving and seasonal stays in the beautiful, gentle hills of Puglia, southern Italy.

Set in the fairytale-like historic mountain village of Roseto Valfortore, our spacious villa provides a calm, grounded base for remote workers, digital nomads, creatives, and slow travellers – whether you’re here to work, rest, explore, or reconnect.

Surrounded by nature and held by the slower rhythms of village life, it’s a place where connection can grow naturally, without pressure or expectation.

In the long term, we’d love to see an intentional community form here, based on permaculture principles and regenerative farming. Our coliving seasons are also a way of bringing those people to us naturally.

What we mean by “Seasonal Stays & Coliving”

Seasonal stays at La Vita Sukha are designed for people who value:

  • Simplicity over intensity
  • Shared space without forced togetherness
  • Respect for individual rhythms
  • A slower, more sustainable way of living

Residents stay for 2 weeks up to 1 month, living alongside others in a relaxed, respectful environment. Some people enjoy shared meals and conversation; others prefer quiet independence. Both are welcome here.

This is a lived-in home with clear boundaries and room to breathe, not a programme or curated experience, but a peaceful place to live well for a while.

Who This Tends to Suit

  • Remote workers and digital nomads
  • Freelancers, creatives and writers
  • Slow travellers or those between life chapters
  • Expats, retirees, couples and families
  • Mindful, nature-loving people seeking a more meaningful stay in Italy
  • People curious about intentional community in the long term – without rushing the process
  • People who value respectful shared living and genuine human connection

If you’re able to live independently, communicate clearly and enjoy sharing space with care and consideration, there’s a good chance this will be a good fit.

Intentional Community: a Long-term Horizon

La Vita Sukha is rooted in a long-term vision of intentional community: one that is built slowly, relationally, and in alignment with the land, the village, and the people involved.

Seasonal stays and coliving are a way of meeting and getting to know people over time, sharing life gently, and allowing trust and resonance to grow naturally. Some guests feel drawn to explore deeper involvement in the future; others simply enjoy their stay and move on.

Both are welcome. Both are valuable.

Meet Your Host

Hello! I’m Liz. I’m half-local, half-nomad: born to Italian parents, and raised between England and Italy. This town is the birthplace of my parents, and they built this villa over 20 years. Since their passing, I’ve lovingly turned it into La Vita Sukha: a place for people seeking calm, beauty, and a slower pace of life.

It is also my home, which gives it a personal, grounded, and intentionally held atmosphere…creating something a little different: a space with soul and warmth.

I’m a yoga teacher, Reiki Master and massage therapist, a permaculture designer, and also an award-winning music producer and DJ. One could say I’m equal parts calm, creative and practical.

Guided by simplicity, respect for nature, and thoughtful use of space, these values have shaped everyday life at La Vita Sukha and the way I welcome people into the villa, land, and rhythm of the village.
