Located in Roseto Valfortore, a fairytale-like mountain town in Puglia, southern Italy, we’re building something special: an intentional community based on the ethics of permaculture and rooted in connection, sustainability, and shared purpose. But we’re at the very beginning of this journey, and we’re looking for people who want to co-create this community with us from the ground up.

We host our coliving seasons to meet and connect with these people. You never truly know someone until you’ve lived with them. We also welcome digital nomads and remote workers who are looking for a longer-term stay who value community, sustainability, and mutual contribution.

We plan to build eco-structures, thereby enabling us to continue accepting retreat bookings, host permaculture education workshops, and welcome temporary guests whilst housing a permanent community.

Our long-term vision is not just one community, but a global network of hubs.

Our ultimate goal is to sponsor people from disadvantaged backgrounds to stay at our hubs so they can learn about permaculture, self-sufficiency and what it means to live within a safe, collaborative community environment.

We then wish to provide these people with grants to carry this invaluable learning into their own lives and communities, literally enabling them to be seeds of change.

We believe that together, we can create a lasting state of happiness for people and the planet.

This isn’t the place for those seeking a transactional experience or ready-made activities to consume. It’s a space for those who ask, “What can I give?” rather than “What can I take?”

What Your Life Will Look Like

Nestled in the fairytale-like mountain town of Roseto Valfortore in Puglia, southern Italy, we are more than just a coliving space.

We’re creating a community that thrives on mutual support, shared responsibilities, and a collective mindset – living, working, and growing in harmony with each other and nature.

Here, we live intentionally…cooking meals together with fresh ingredients from our huge garden and enjoying evenings filled with game nights, BBQs, and deep, meaningful conversations.

Weekends are for exploring nature, relaxing by the pool, working on the land, and savouring delicious local Italian cuisine.

Over time, this community becomes something special…where friendships formed last a lifetime.

Maintaining and nurturing this vision requires money. To cover essential costs like utilities, maintenance and other operational needs, we ask for rent from those who stay with us. These contributions mean we can keep the lights on, sustain our shared experience and work towards achieving the vision of La Vita Sukha.
